Spicy Cornbread Dutch Oven Recipe

Required:2 C cornmeal
2 C flour
2 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
2 Tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1 C powdered milk
1 C grated pepperjack cheese
1/2 C jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 C butter (1 stick)
3 C water
4 eggs
Instructions:Combine all dry ingredients (first 7 listed) into a large bowl and mix together.
Mix in cheese and peppers.
Melt butter in dutch oven.
Stir water, eggs, and butter into the bowl of dry ingredients.
(you can use 3 cups of milk instead of powdered milk and water)
Mix thoroughly to make a smooth batter.
Pour into dutch oven.
Bake at 350 degrees. After 30 minutes, poke a toothpick in the center. If it comes out dry, it's done. If not, bake another 10 minutes.

Serves 8-10.
