Simple Chili Dutch Oven Recipe
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 diced onion
1/2 green pepper, chopped
3 cans crushed tomatoes
2 cans dark red kidney beans
3 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar

Instructions:
Preheat dutch oven to 325 degrees.
Heat the olive oil and saute the onions and pepper 5-7 minutes.
Mix in all ingredients and bring to a boil.
Lower the heat to 275 degrees and cook covered for 1 hour.
Can add hamburger if desired.
Serves 6 guests.

All recipes use a 12-inch dutch oven, unless specified.
If you have a 10-inch dutch oven, use about 2/3 to 3/4 of the ingredient amounts but keep the temperature and time about the same.
If you have an 8-inch dutch oven, use about 1/2 of the ingredient amounts but keep the temperature and time about the same.
If no temperature is listed, use 350 degrees.
